Somewhat unconventional mods.Unless your name is Red Green or Mad Max.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! My favorite special place on that confusing thingy the kids call Face-book. I think you have to ask to join. I'll see what I can do.
It's a strange mix of builders and admirers. Some of these folks get paid to do this, others just want a peaceful commute to work with no tailgaters for 3 car lengths.
So is there a group of Australians cosplaying CHiPs?
Update: Founder Ron Griffith and the cars he built for a movie which I suppose we must all watch. Details as I get em.

And yeah, ironically I wouldn't have to weld one bit to get a full crazycage exterior. Just go over to Australia and get a set of Brumby parts.
Seriously. If I could get about 300lbs of shipment crate from AU I'd be in clover. Oh well time to LEARN TO WELD properly.
I could go on for pages with that stuff. Anybody having trouble viewing on there, I'll try to get you listed. Heck, they need their own subpage on Jalop.
I'm of the suspicion that I would do good in Australia, once I got over that RHD thng.

Attention Jalop Reporters: You've missed one. Go for it. Somwhere in California. A bodyshop guy who got asked to build a couple of prop cars, realized it was a natural art.
It gets confusing on there as to which are actual projects and which are just taken from the internet, but all you can do is sigh and go ,
"This exists."

Why would I sigh? That is fucking awesome and there is like a bijjillion pretty garage kept mustangs restored to factory.

You may have misinterpreted my sigh.
Not Charlie Brown Sigh..
But
Admiring automotive artwork type sigh.

I build a post-apoc vehicle a few years ago. This was actually my daily driver for about a year. It was a ton of fun.
